New arrangements for Term 5

Dear Parents and Carers,

 

Since last September, the number of children attending St John Infants has trebled. Therefore, we are delighted to inform you that we will be opening a third class at our school, starting from Monday 15th April 2024. This means that we will now have straight Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes, which will allow us to provide an even better educational experience for your children.

 

In the reception class, Miss White will be continuing her excellent work with the children in the Butterfly class.

 

For Year 1 pupils, they will now be taught in Squirrel classroom with Ms Williams. She is highly experienced and we are confident that your children will benefit greatly from her expertise.

 

Finally, for Year 2 children, they will remain in Owl classroom with Mrs Brown, who we are pleased to welcome back. Mrs Brown's wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching this age group will contribute to the continued growth and progress of the Year 2 students.

 

The morning entry to the school will remain unchanged. However, at the end of the day, Squirrel class will now exit via the gate on Ordnance Street. This will ensure a smooth and organised dismissal and we kindly ask for your cooperation in following this new arrangement.

 

We are looking forward to welcoming all the children back to school on Monday 15th April 2024. The addition of the third class and the expertise of our dedicated teachers will undoubtedly enhance the overall educational experience at our school. We are confident that your children will thrive and succeed in this enriched learning environment.
