Behaviour at school
Following the rules
We follow the Golden Rules Behaviour Plan as a school. This plan is a visual reminder to keep following the Golden Rules and display Green Behaviour. Positive behaviour and good attitude to learning is rewarded through in class reward systems such as stickers, raffle tickets and prizes. In addition children are nominated for the Praise book each week which is celebrated by sharing with the whole school during Praise assembly.
If children are not following the Golden Rules Behaviour Plan and do not behave in an appropriate way then the relevant consequence from the traffic lights plan will take place. Every Classroom has a traffic lights display to help give a visual reminder to children who are 'Green to Go!' or who may be in danger of receiving a consequence from the yellow, orange or red.
Our golden rules are:
We show love and play nicely with everybody in our school family
We speak with kindness at all times
We have faith and work hard so that tricky things get easier for us
We show respect by listening well
