Term 4

We have learnt about Traditional tales such as Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel and The Princess and the frog. The children have had the opportunity to act out these stories with props, and create their own versions of the story.

In Maths we have explored length and height and made comparisons between objects eg which tower is taller/shorter? We have also been learning about 3D shapes and their properties. We went on a hunt to find 3D shapes in the school, and matched 3D shapes to everyday objects all around us. The children have had the chance to build structures such as a tower for Rapunzel using 3D shapes and junk modelling.

In RE we have been learning about the Easter story including the symbolism of new life and the importance of the Easter garden to Christians.
