Term 2 - Space

Term 2 in Butterfly Class has been out of this world as we have explored all about outer space. We have made rockets out of different materials and learnt about the different planets. On Space Day we had great fun pretending to be astronauts, making star shaped biscuits and having our very own space picnic!

In Maths we have learnt about 2D shapes and their properties and repeating patterns.

In R.E we retold the story of the Nativity together and thought about the importance of giving to others at Christmas.
