St John's and All Saints share a joint governing body

Welcome from Janet Harsent - Chair of Governors

I have been a governor at All Saints School since 2009 with a break in 2020/2021.

I am pleased to serve as Chair of the Local Governing Group we have formed with St Johns Infants.

I attend All Saints Church where I am a member of the Parish Council.

My PCC role is to maintain and develop the contact between the church and the school.  

Before I retired, I worked as a School Counsellor at a local secondary school so I have a long interest in the welfare and education of children.

I see my role of Chair as leading the team of dedicated governors in supporting the Headteacher and staff as well as regularly  monitoring progress and achievement.

Getting back into volunteering in school is an absolute delight, I am proud to be a member of our amazing All Saints School family.

Welcome from Martyn Saunders - Deputy Chair of Governors

I am Martyn Saunders, leader of St John's church. I am delighted to work in partnership with St John's and All Saints School and with Mike Dare at Church Army to help your children make the most of the opportunities to discover God and faith in Him .

I've been in Medway since 2010 as vicar of St Philip and St James church, Walderslade and we're the people behind the reopening of St John's as a church and as a building. 

We are here for the whole family - not just children, so if for whatever reason you want to get in touch then I'd be delighted to hear from you and will help in whatever way I can.
