Term 6
Term 6 Fun!
This term we have been learning all about the sea and exploring the different animals that live in it. The children had lots of fun creating their own mosaic fish, exploring the class rock pool and even tried on some diving gear! In Maths we have been learning about capacity, the children have really enjoyed using different sized jugs and beakers in the water tray. We have continued to practice our number recognition to 20 and explored lots of different coins in our class shop! Our story for this term was 'Hooray for Fish', the children loved designing their own crazy fish patterns and enjoyed putting their rhyming knowledge to the test!
All of the children enjoyed our school trip to Jacksons park, we spent lots of time on the play equipment and explored the environment around us. One of the highlights of the term was our trip to the zoo! The children got to experience a real life safari and came face to face with some incredible animals. All of the Rabbits drew their very own zoo map and explored our wild safari tuff tray. The whole school went on an exciting trip to Rochester, the Rabbits explored the Guild Hall Museum and had a fantastic time in the park.
I hope everyone has a fantastic summer holidays and I look forward to seeing you all in September!!
