A small school with a big heart, a great place to grow.

Term 3

We are wild about animals

This term, Owl class went on Safari.  We learnt all about Kenya, researched different animals and created reports about them.  We have used several books to inspire our writing and have written some very interesting stories.

In science we  have been finding out all about the different habitats in which creatures live.  We have been learning about fractions and money in maths and tackling some very tricky word problems.

We have been learning lots of different songs in our music lessons in preparation for our performance at the Theatre.

What else happened this Term?

We celebrated 'Round the World' week.  A professional dancer came into school and taught each class a dance from a different culture; As we have been learning about Kenya, we learnt how to do some traditional African dancing. We also had a visit from Chartwells who made food from lots of different cultures.  We thought the food was very yummy!
