Pickles the pug

Pickles the pug joins us at school from this week.

There is much evidence citing the benefits of having a dog in schools and Pickles will work in classes this term to aid reading, writing, speaking and listening and social skills.

Please note:

Allergies are an important issue to address because even though some dogs shed less than others, no dogs are hypoallergenic. Please communicate with us about whether your child is allergic to dogs and also whether your child cannot interact with Pickles (or to what extent).

No child is required to interact with Pickles. We ask them to be respectful of her, and we respect their wish to not be near her.
