CORONAVIRUS SCHOOL UPDATE MARCH 17TH
Coronavirus – Covid19 Update
Dear Parent / Carer
Thank you to everyone for the support you are giving in teaching your children to Catch It, Bin It, Kill It and to wash their hands thoroughly and regularly.
Please continue to use the link below which you may find useful.

Each class has hand wash which all staff and children have been encouraged to use at the beginning of the day, before and after break and lunch times and after going to the toilet. Washing hands and keeping them away from the mouth area will go a long way in stopping the spread of the germs. We shall continue to encourage all of our children to do this and to be extra vigilant towards the children and our own personal hygiene.
Following the latest government guidance, we have reviewed the daily timetable of the school, planned events before the end of term 4, and will be making some changes:
Act of worship will be held in class groups rather than as a whole school event in the hall.
We are cancelling the Easter Service at Church
We are cancelling Church Plant and Messy Church
After school clubs are cancelled
Mother’s Day Tea is cancelled
We are reducing footfall in the school building by cancelling all non-essential visitors until further notice.
If your child becomes unwell during the school day with a fever or a continuous cough, we will contact you to come and collect them and self-isolate for 14 days. It is essential that we have the most up to date contact details for you or your designated carer and you can help by updating the office if these have changed recently.
The school will continue to keep you informed of any updates that we receive from relevant agencies. If you have any concerns we would ask you to contact the school through the usual channels and we will advise on any action needed.
School is remaining open and we will continue to make your child’s safety our first priority to ensure the safety of all members of our community.
Thank you
Mrs J Collman
Head Teacher
