Governor Involvement

Governors are committed to raising achievement and standards at St John's.

 

We do this in a number of ways, including

 

• being responsible for particular areas of the School Development Plan and being linked to a class and/or subject
• learning walks
• health and safety checks, including observing fire drills
• listening to children read
• having lunch with the children - behaviour management scrutiny
• attend Worship at school, Church and trips
• provide a termly newsletter to parents
• regular meetings with parents and teachers - including meet + greet stakeholder sessions and parent consultations
