Party Day to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III
Soldiers from our local regiment joined us in our Remembrance Service 2022
World Book Day!
We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day. Our whole school visited Chatham Library; as well as listening to a really funny story, we made bookmarks and went on a library hunt. Back at school, we visited different classes where we listened to a story and did fun activities related to that story. In year 2, we made pancakes to celebrate 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes'; in year 1, we went on a hunt around the school to celebrate the book 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and in year R, we read 'Superworm', created our own worms, went on a worm hunt and worked out in the worm gym.

Round the World Week!
We celebrated this special week by visiting different classes. Year R was Kenya, Year 1 was France and Year 2 was China. We had a wonderful time learning about different countries and tasting different foods.

Do you like action heroes? Then you will love the sequels we have written to 'Traction Man'!

Year 2 have been learning that The Great Fire of London started in a baker's shop so we became bakers for the day and made our own delicious bread rolls.
